· Overall technical and operational responsibility for the ATN site, including engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning
· Leadership and development of a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, automation, and workshop)
· Act as the key interface to ANDRITZ corporate departments (engineering, product management, R&D) and work closely with local site management
· Plan, organize, and manage all technical, production, and development activities
· Provide technical support to sales and participate in customer meetings
· Maintain strong customer relationships before, during, and after project delivery
· Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and cost targets
· Implement and adhere to regulations and directives such as PED, ATEX, Machinery Directive, Cenelec, and WEEELABEX
· Drive technical improvements and contribute to the continuous development of ATN’s product portfolio
· Oversee documentation and reporting for technical and administrative processes
· Represent the ATN site in dealings with customers, suppliers, and authorities

Gevraagd

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Control Engineering (preferably HBO/FH level with strong practical background)
- Knowledge of refrigeration technology is an advantage
- 5–10 years of professional experience in a similar role within machinery or plant engineering
- Solid understanding of technical, administrative, and financial processes
- Experience in international project environments and technical sales
- Excellent command of English and German (written and spoken); Dutch language skills are an asset
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (PED, ATEX, Machinery Directive, WEEELABEX, Cenelec)
- Proven leadership skills and experience in personnel management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, focused on finding solutions rather than obstacles
- Creative and visionary, able to develop new technical and business ideas
- Hands-on mentality – practical, down-to-earth, and technically skilled
- Not an “eight-to-five” type – committed, flexible, and proactive
- Willingness to travel internationally
