As Employee Relations Partner, you will take ownership of complex ER and sickness cases across the Netherlands and contribute to projects across EMEA. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency, compliance and fairness in how employee relations matters are handled, while providing proactive advice and insight to internal stakeholders.

This role is part of a wider HR team and reports directly to the regional HR leadership. You will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Legal Counsel, and other HR functions to maintain high-quality standards in case management and employee engagement.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Case Management & Advisory: Lead and resolve complex performance, conduct and grievance cases. Partner with HRBPs and managers to provide sound ER advice aligned with legal and company standards;
  • Sickness & Absence Management: Handle complex sickness cases and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective reintegration and prevention;
  • Policy & Process Improvement: Review and update ER templates, policies and processes to align with best practice and evolving legislation;
  • Data & Insights: Manage and analyze ER data and case reporting, identifying trends and providing recommendations for proactive improvements;
  • Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for HRBPs, Legal, and other HR functions, supporting wider ER initiatives and contributing to a consistent global approach.


Gevraagd

Your background includes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Employment Law, or related field;
  • 5-7 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Advisory or HR Business Partner roles, preferably within an international or matrix organization; 
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and experience managing complex ER and sickness cases; 
  • Proven ability to balance compliance with business needs while maintaining empathy and fairness;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experienced in working within international environments.
