Responsibilities
• Expanding and managing our VMware-based IaaS platform
• Working with technologies such as VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Cloud Director
• Managing support systems such as load balancing
• Setting up and maintaining monitoring
• Ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• Working in a self-managing team with the primary responsibility of keeping the platform running smoothly, securely, and stably
• Periodically performing standby duty

Requirements
• Extensive experience with VMware technology (Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and ARIA products)
• Experience with VCD, VRA, or VCF Automation
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN)
• Experience with automation in PowerShell
• Practical knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and infrastructure services (DNS, NTP, DHCP)
• Experience with DELL PowerEdge server hardware
• Team spirit, ownership, and security awareness
• Good communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English
• In addition, you are eager to learn, show initiative, and are a go-getter
