As Experienced Mechanical Engineer, you join a international team dedicated to improving existing mechanical systems. You’ll work in close collaboration with co-makers, suppliers, and internal departments while your main responsibility will be to ensure that mechanical systems are designed, integrated and delivered in full compliance with the industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Managing the entire engineering process, from defining functional requirements to preparing commissioning protocols;
  
• Reviewing and analyzing data from vendors, service providers, and detailed engineering sources to ensure alignment with project specifications;
  
• Maintaining strong communication and coordination with internal teams, external partners, and key project stakeholders;
  
• Overseeing quality standards, coordinating discipline interfaces, and facilitating system integration with co-makers and other departments;
  
• Performing power, load, strength, and flow calculations to support system design and validation;
  
• Assisting with the approval process by Class Societies and National Authorities, ensuring compliance with all technical requirements;
  
• Developing system diagrams, propulsion layouts, and outfitting drawings in line with project and regulatory standards;
  
• Drafting protocols and documentation to support system testing and commissioning phases;
  
• Managing the collaboration with external 3D engineering partners to ensure accurate and timely project delivery;

• A bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering;
  
• At least 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with experience in the maritime sector;
  
• Good communication skills in the English language;
  
• Interest in innovations and an open-minded in new technologies;
  
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands;
