Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and supporting two colleagues in the finance team, ensuring effective collaboration and development.
• Preparing clear management reports and providing financial insight and advice to the management team.
• Overseeing compliance with financial laws and regulations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Continuously identifying opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes.
• Maintaining relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and grant providers.
• Handling HR-related matters, including drafting employment contracts, coordinating one-to-one, performance and appraisal meetings, and managing employment disputes in consultation with the company’s insurer.
Wat heb jij nodig
You are a strong communicator with a solid financial background and an analytical mindset. You know how to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and contribute proactively to strategic decision-making.
You bring:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems; experience with ISAH and UNIT4 Multivers is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Strong analytical abilities and a sound understanding of financial legislation and compliance.
• Some experience with HR-related matters is considered a plus.
• You live in the Netherlands.
