The production support engineer mechanical is responsible for the technical delivery of assigned project scopes, maintaining excellence in design, 3D modeling, and engineering documentation. Collaborating closely with project teams, this role ensures that all technical solutions meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations, while supporting efficient and practical yacht production throughout the process.

• Developing and refining detailed engineering designs, technical drawings, and 3D models;
  
• Ensuring compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications;
  
• Conducting technical assessments to guarantee feasibility and manufacturability;
  
• Identifying and solving technical bottlenecks, providing solutions as well as recommendations to prevent them in the future;
  
• Collaborating with (senior) engineers, project leads, and production teams to ensure a timely delivery of high-quality work.

• A Bachelor education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Maritime Technology or related study.
  
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering work experience within shipbuilding or yacht building.
  
• Relevant software knowledge 3D AutoCad and preferably Siemens NX, Teamcentre and Cadmatic.
  
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  
• Knowledge of shipbuilding production and the construction process;
  
• The ability to be the linking pin between production and drawings;
  
• Accuracy by nature and a high standard for delivering quality and results.

• A gross salary of € 3700 up to € 4200 per month;
