As a Senior Design Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of advanced data center infrastructure projects across a growing European portfolio. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical direction of new builds and upgrades, ensuring that every facility meets the highest standards for reliability, scalability, and sustainability.

This is a strategic and hands-on position where you’ll directly influence design processes, implement new technologies, and mentor junior and medior engineers. You will see your designs realized on site — from concept through commissioning — and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of mechanical or electrical systems for new and existing data centers.
• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of design standards and technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with international and local standards (e.g. ASHRAE, IEEE, NFPA, IEC).
• Collaborate across design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Perform technical reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering activities.
• Support commissioning and testing to verify system performance and reliability.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, providing technical leadership and supporting professional growth.
• Foster innovation and knowledge sharing across engineering disciplines.

Your Profile

• 10–15 years of experience in engineering and/or technical consultancy.
• Proven track record in data center or other mission-critical industries (power generation, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, etc.).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
• Strong design and problem-solving capabilities, able to develop solutions from concept to detailed design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Technical Expertise

• Strong technical command of your discipline.
• Preferred proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), ETAP, SKM Power Tools, Bluebeam, CFD software, and MS Project.
• Experience in project management, design coordination, and construction oversight.
• Proven experience in mentorship and technical leadership.
