As a Junior Account Manager at Lamb Weston, you will be the driving force behind the promotion and sales of our full product portfolio. Working closely with the (Regional) Account Manager, you’ll help bring our Premium Fries, Specialties, and Appetizers to life for our Gold and Silver end-users.
Your mission? Build strong customer relationships, unlock new opportunities, and help our partners succeed by showing them how Lamb Weston products add value and boost profitability.
This role is perfect for someone who’s eager to grow, passionate about food and sales, and excited to make an impact within a global food leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth & Planning
- Develop and execute sales plans and journey plans for your region.
- Report sales performance and market insights with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage forecasts, contracts, and sales targets.
- Customer Development & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new end-users.
- Identify new business opportunities and deliver added-value product listings.
- Partner with marketing on promotions, LTOs, and product launches.
- Key Account Engagement
- Strengthen partnerships with Gold and Silver accounts.
- Negotiate and finalize profitable contracts.
- Map stakeholders and create tailored Key Account Plans.
- Customer Experience & Training
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction with timely communication and service.
- Educate end-users on best practices for product storage, preparation, and usage.
- Train kitchen staff on how to maximize product quality and profitability.
- Collaboration & Representation
- Work hand-in-hand with colleagues across sales and marketing.
- Represent Lamb Weston at trade shows, events, and customer exhibitions.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales (experience in FMCG, food, or agro is a plus)
- Hunter mentality: Results-driven, self-reliant, and always on the lookout for new opportunities
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English and the local market language(s)
