Cloud engineer

Location: Zuid-Holland

Start: Mid November or 1 December

Duration: 5 months

For a project, we are working on Azure Cloud activities and need extra manpower to reduce the number of operational product backlog items.

Therefor we are now looking for Cloud engineer with proven experience on:

· Azure Policy and Governance

Define and codify Azure Policies and Initiatives for security and platform standards
Automate policy deployment (Bicep/PowerShell)
Set up compliance dashboards and reporting (Azure Policy + Log Analytics)
Remediate non-compliance and enforce guardrails

· Azure DevOps CI/CD-pipelines

Create and improve YAML pipelines for ARM/Bicep deployment
Integrate security and policy validation in pipelines
Standardize pipeline templates and naming conventions
Support Configuration-as-Code practices

· Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep)

Maintain and refactor reusable templates
Implement parameterized deployments for multi-environment setups
Ensure alignment with Microsoft CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework)
Develop deployment automation scripts in PowerShell

· Azure Security & Compliance Integration

Integrate Azure Policy with Defender for Cloud and Security Center
Support DPC&R and compliance initiatives
Review identity and access configurations for policy-driven control

· Monitoring & Automatisering (Observability)

Link Azure policies with Dynatrace tags and monitoring automation
Implement follow-up scripts to identify and alert policy deviations
Automate validation and reporting workflows using PowerShell and CLI

· Platform Operations & Change Process Integration

Ensure alignment with ServiceNow change process
Align recurring maintenance and ad-hoc changes with policy enforcement
Provide documentation and handover to CCC backlog

We expect candidates are well certified on MS Azure working field.
