Junior Valuer

Real estate plays an increasingly important role in our society, making an independent, objective and reliable determination of the market value of real estate essential. As one of the largest real estate appraisers worldwide, Cushman & Wakefield is the sparring partner for a wide range of valuation issues. Cushman & Wakefield's approach to valuations is based on a thorough research and understanding of the property. Supported by a very extensive transaction database, the Valuation & Advisory team is aware of current national, regional and local developments.

To strengthen the Valuation & Advisory department, we are always looking for driven starting valuers. This vacancy concerns a position in the Specialist Markets team consisting of approximately 25 professionals who are involved in valuing and advising on very specific real estate. What will you do

In this versatile role, together with a fellow Registered Appraiser, you carry out valuation assignments for specific commercial real estate. The assignments and activities include portfolio valuations, valuations for purchase or sale, regular and periodic valuations, rent reviews, WOZ procedures, valuations for financing purposes, valuations for (re)development projects and market research. You will use specialist and validated calculation models. As an organization, we have our own research department and continuously conduct market research. So you always have the most up-to-date market information to be able to advise our customers in the best possible way.

In addition to being responsible for the execution of valuation assignments, you also make an active contribution to the acquisition of new assignments and maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.

Who will you be working with

Our Valuation & Advisory team consists of approximately 100 professionals and is divided into three specialisms; Commercial Real Estate (BOG), Residential and Specialist Markets. This makes the Valuation & Advisory team one of our largest departments. We are still growing and therefore regularly welcome new colleagues. We are a close-knit team of experienced and driven appraisers, data analysts and assistants. We combine global expertise with local knowledge and experience, so that together we can deliver high quality to our clients.

What are we looking for

We are looking for analytical and customer-oriented young professionals. You are result-oriented and know how to respond to opportunities with your commercial insight. Because of your good communication skills, you know how to convince people. To take on this challenge with us, you will also need:

· A relevant completed bachelor's or master's degree;

· Demonstrable affinity with real estate;

· Intrinsic motivation to follow the training to become a Registered Appraiser (RT);

· A valid Dutch driving license B;

· Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
