We are currently looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our team that focuses on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for the Global Planning department, part of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden.

• €650 internship allowance (based on 40 hours)

We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Thesis Master Supply Chain Management student who meets the following criteria:

• Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
• Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, data analytical tools like Tableau
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team. You have a proactive attitude, with a self-starting approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

As an intern in the Planning department at Johnson & Johnson in Leiden, you will support the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) team in ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and components for production. This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, cross-functional environment committed to continuous improvement and patient impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with inventory analysis.
• Tracking supplier performance.
• Improving planning processes through data-driven insights.
• Working with tools such as SAP and Excel-based dashboards to manage material flows and support decision-making.
• The opportunity to shape project opportunities into a thesis, ranging from supply chain optimization and supplier collaboration to data analytics and process improvement.
