This position reports directly to the Senior Director, GPS EMEA, based at Nike’s European Headquarters in Hilversum, and plays a key role representing the EMEA team. You’ll collaborate closely with the GPS EMEA Leadership Team, the broader global GPS organization, and key partners across Nike’s global functions including HR, Communications, and Finance.



What are you going to do?

You’ll also build strong relationships with external stakeholders and officials connected to Nike’s European HQ, helping to strengthen Nike’s impact across the region.

As part of this role, you’ll partner with a diverse, high-energy community of Nike teammates both on-site and remote and engage with world-class suppliers delivering Integrated Facility Management, Nutrition, Sport, and Event Services. As the senior administrative Assistant, GPS EMEA, you will work closely with Nike teammates across the region. While creating and maintaining relationships with Nike business, you will be responsible for coordinating EMEA administrative engagement planning across the EMEA teams, guiding and supporting GPS leadership team for effective administrative communication. You will act as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and queries as well as liaising with stakeholders, vendors and clients.

 Your accountabilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:

  •  Support the leader day-to-day activities to ensure their team success.
  • Assess priorities of work and assist in organizing the leader priorities and complete other work tasks as arranged by the leader.
  • Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments, with access to shared calendars.
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport & accommodation and collating/ filing expenses.
  • Managing databases and platforms, compiling and preparing reports, and correspondence.
  • Representing the function in peer group engagements, sharing pro-actively functional tools and process
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures / administrative systems.

You’ll be comfortable working and communicating effectively with a variety of personalities including senior level executives.

  • 3+ years of supporting experience with regional/international corporate exposure with diploma or degree in Business administration or other relevant degree.
  • Strong interpersonal and highly developed communication skills in verbal/written and collaboration skills to engage with user groups and to build networks with GPS and other key Nike partners.
  • A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external suppliers as well as cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Proficient in the MS Office and experience in complex calendar management  
  • Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality on all matters
