About the role
Role: Senior AE
Location: Rotterdam

Size and functions of local team: 1x Sales Manager, 2 AEs, 2 BDRs, 1 Channel AE, BDR Manager, Field Marketing
Role description:
Focus on new logos in mid-market and large accounts. Land and expand responsibility, average land deal size currently €25KARR with a growth target towards €40KARR. Expansions can be 100-200k ARR.
Sales cycles approx. 60–90 days. Mix of transactional and value-based sales, moving toward consultative, MEDDPICC-based qualification.
Expected to self-gen pipeline but will receive growing support from BDRs and marketing. Expected quota ~€1M+ depending on OTE.

Opportunity to be key figure in scaling Benelux market to €10M ARR
Support the transition from transactional to value-based selling
Big bet on Benelux as first major international growth market outside Germany
Strong sales leadership with ex-Mendix DNA
Must haves:
High calibre, authentic, good tenures, coachable, challenger, 80+
5+ years SaaS sales experience (min 2+ in a closing role if good industry/or relevant data experience)
Experience closing mid-market and large deals, 20 - 100k ARR
Hunter and closer skillset
Value based seller with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodology knowledge
Nice to haves: (Ideally one of these is a must have)
Network in logistics, retail, or manufacturing
Background in integration or data tooling
Salary range & secondary benefits:
OTE: €180K–220K (50/50 split)
Strong secondaries: 30 holiday days, pension contribution, learning budget, equity via Employee Investment Programme
