Your daily Action

Working at Action isn't like working at any other company. With more than 3000 stores, eighteen distribution centers, four hubs and two crossdocks centers and an ambitious growth plan, our supply chain is always evolving. Such changes include removing bottlenecks in the processes and systems, such as improving our visibility and traceability on our Direct Import flow. As an experienced Process Expert, you will take an active approach in implementations and improvements for Inbound Logistics, with a focus on simplicity and scalability. Your team will be the first point of contact for system-related projects, questions or issues, and you will work closely with IT, consultants and the business. During your work, you will coordinate with stakeholders and keep them informed.

We have a number of major challenges ahead of us, including opening new warehouses, new HUBs and new transportation lanes and implementing a TMS for Direct Import. We are looking for additional support as our team is heavily involved in these projects and is responsible for ensuring that these projects run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. 
 

Meet your team

The Process Improvement team is part of the Process Development and Support department in the supply chain and consists of Process Managers and Process Experts, each with their own area of expertise. We have Process Experts for Supply Chain Planning, Inbound, Distribution Centres, Outbound and Transport. As a team, you will ensure that Action's supply chain runs as smoothly as possible so the hundreds of thousands of products reach our 3000+ stores every day. Being able to improve the process is what drives us. 

This is you

You feel at home in a dynamic, vibrant environment. Your affinity with systems and your curiosity enable you to familiarize yourself with systems and processes in no time. You also take a structured approach to your work and have strong analytical skills. 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar
  • Three to five years of work experience in the transport and supply chain network field
  • Demonstrable experience in process improvements
  • You have a strong verbal and written communication skill in English
