Sr. Software Design Engineer

Utilize your C++ software design engineering skills to the max to develop and enhance our portfolio of state-of-the-art 3-dimensional imaging applications to support interventional cardiac and vascular medical procedures (e.g., balloon angioplasty and stent placements) on the Philips Azurion image-guided therapy system.

Your role:

• You make a substantial contribution to the innovation of our clinical products. You will develop new clinical products & supporting platforms, using latest software technologies and resources.

• Lead the hands-on design and development of major features that shape the clinical capabilities of our next-generation products

• Your become part of an extremely driven International cross-functional R&D team of the business unit Image Guided Therapy Systems R&D. Your local team is in Best (Eindhoven North), The Netherlands, and you will collaborate with other teams globally. Thereby making it a multidisciplinary international endeavor, where flexibility is key.

• We collaborate in an open and informal way to drive exponential business growth at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship and passion - delivering cutting edge technologies that solve century old health challenges with greater speed, higher quality and better accuracy for individuals and families around the world.

You're the right fit if:

• You have obtained a MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science (or equivalent)

• You have 10+ years experience developing software and at least 5 years experience working with complex high-tech systems

• You have proven design and engineering skills in modern C++ in the area of application development, user experience and/or 3D imaging on Windows, Mac or Linux environments.

• Experienced in AI assisted software development practices

• You are a self-starter, results-driven, working accurate and as team player striving for continuous improvement.
