At Booking Experts, the end-user is central to our all-in-one reservation system for recreation businesses. We offer a user-friendly platform that is easy to understand, regardless of the type of business. As a Product Manager Integrations, you will work in the Product & Engineering Team on the development and optimisation of integrations within our Booking Experts platform. Together with your team, you will be responsible for the entire integration process; from discovery to delivery. Your direct colleagues are experts in Engineering, Product Design, and Product Management.
Wat will you be doing?
As a Product Manager Integrations, you will manage various integration projects and will be responsible for, among other things, the BEX App Store; Booking Experts' solution for offering integrations to our customers. Through interviews, surveys, and user testing, you will analyse the needs and pain points and translate these into solutions. The main goals are for the integrations to align with Booking Experts' vision for the BEX App Store and the needs of our customers and partners, without losing sight of the user experience.
You will work closely with the rest of the Product & Engineering team to determine the relevance and priority of each integration project. You will be involved in the entire development process, from discovery to delivery. You possess a helicopter view and are capable of overseeing and resolving complex integration challenges. As you will be in contact with various stakeholders, no two days are the same. Additionally, we are always open to new ideas regarding working methods or tooling.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Mapping the pain points, needs, and wishes of our users and integration partners;
- Determining the relevance and priority of potential integration projects;
- Optimising the user experience through detailed integration flows and clear UX writing;
- Managing the integration process, where you collaborate with software engineers, external partners, and stakeholders;
- Communicating the progress to colleagues, partners, and customers, so everyone is aware of the latest developments;
- Conceptualising appropriate integration solutions together with software engineers and managing the implementation.

With the BEX App Store, recreation businesses can further expand BEX PMS and tailor it to their needs in terms of process automation and optimisation. This results in more direct bookings and increased guest satisfaction. In this way, we comprehensively support holiday parks with automation, digitalisation, and smart integrations. We develop various integrations and functionalities such as:
BEX PMS: For managing all back-office operations.
Search and book: For stimulating direct bookings via the park’s own website.
BEX CMS: For building user-friendly websites that are seamlessly integrated with BEX PMS.
Business Intelligence: Advanced dashboards for making data-driven decisions.
BEX App Store: Integrations with external systems, such as: access control systems, channel managers, marketing tools, and more.

About you
You have experience with integration management, creating user journeys, and reading API documentation. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills. You also have an analytical mindset and are capable of critical and strategic thinking. You have a helicopter view, you can oversee complex integration problems, and you have the ability to devise solutions for these challenges. You communicate with stakeholders, partners, and the team to ensure everyone is aware of the progress and the decisions that have been made.
Furthermore, you possess strong listening skills, which are crucial for getting to the core of why a user or partner experiences certain integration pain points. Your approach is pragmatic, and you are good at identifying integration problems. Managing expectations is very important in this regard. You understand that it often requires a balance between technical aspects, partner interests, and user wishes, and that there are many ways to solve integration problems.
You have:
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree level of education or equivalent experience;
- Two years of experience as a Product Manager, Integration Specialist, or a comparable role;
- Good command of the Dutch language;
- Experience with tools such as Figma and GitHub;
- Experience with APIs and integrations;
- Strong empathy and the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the end-user and the integration partner;
- A true team player mentality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a project-based manner. In doing so, you always work in a goal-oriented way.
