Voor de Mechanical Engineering Group (ME) zijn we op zoek naar een Mechanical Engineer die zich richt op de productontwikkeling van Grooming & Beauty-apparaten zoals scheerapparaten, groomers, OneBlade, epileerapparaten, IPL en accessoires. Je werkt in een multidisciplinair team aan het volledige traject: van concept tot massaproductie.

Als Mechanical Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp, de implementatie, het testen en de documentatie van mechanische modules en componenten voor deze apparaten. Je vertaalt nieuwe concepten naar producten die waarde leveren voor onze klanten bij het verwijderen van haar op hoofd, gezicht en lichaam.

Samen met het team op locatie en/of offshore ontwikkelpartners ontwerp, verifieer en valideer je de mechanische constructie van een apparaat en werk je onderdelen uit in 3D en 2D tot aan de definitieve productspecificatie.

• Ontwerpen en detailleren van mechanische componenten en systemen op basis van productvereisten.
• Materiaalkeuze (kunststof/metaal) en productieprocessen bepalen.
• Uitwerken van 3D/2D-bestanden met aandacht voor massaproductie en assemblage.
• Beheren van productvereisten, uitvoeren van DFMEA’s en werken volgens het V-model.
• Prototypes maken en onderdelen verkrijgen.
• Leiden van ideatiesessies en besluitvorming rond conceptontwikkeling.
• Testprotocollen schrijven, testen uitvoeren, data analyseren en rapporteren.
• Nieuwe testmethodes en tools ontwikkelen in samenwerking met T&V engineers.
• Samenwerken met afdelingen zoals Systems Engineering, Architectuur, Inkoop en Productie.
• Kennis vastleggen en delen, inclusief documentatie in een Design History File.
• Ontwerpen archiveren in Windchill.

• Bachelor/Master in werktuigbouwkunde of vergelijkbaar.
• Minimaal 3–5 jaar ervaring in mechanische productontwikkeling voor massaproductie.
• Ervaring in internationale, multidisciplinaire projecten (bij voorkeur B2C).
• Ervaring met 3D CAD (Siemens NX en/of CREO).
• Kennis van kunststof- en metaalconstructies en massaproductieaspecten.
• Bekend met GD&T, FEA (Ansys), CFD en analytische software.
• Kwaliteitsgericht, ervaring met Design for Six Sigma is een pré.
• Ervaring in medische apparaten is een plus.

Interviews: 2 interviews, maybe 3 if needed to connect with the team.

• Duration: 1-year contractor role with potential for extension.
• Working model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
• One-year contract with the intention to offer a permanent contract afterward.
