About the role
Location: Amsterdam
Language: Dutch or German (one of both is required)
WFH policy: Hybrid
Industry: AgriTech / Compliance SaaS
Product: Data collection and processing tool for compliance in the agri-food supply chain
Size and functions of local team: ~12 sales staff across EU; 1 AE per region with dedicated BDRs; partnerships currently led by CEO and AEs
Role description:
Leader – Responsible for building and leading the partnerships function from early stage. Focused on strategic partnerships with complementary SaaS vendors, consultancies (non-Big 4), certifying NGOs, and universities for data access. Targeting mid-size consultancies (500–1,000 FTEs) and industry bodies.
The role is highly commercial with a strong sales-oriented “hunter” profile preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls), pipeline tracking, partner-influenced metrics, and early framework development. Not responsible for building broad enablement infrastructure yet; emphasis is on 1:1 commercial partnerships with high influence on revenue pipeline.
KPIs in H1 include partner-influenced pipeline; H2 and beyond will shift to partner-influenced closed-won deals.

Must haves:
3+ years in B2B closing role (ideally 1+ year partnerships) in SaaS or relevant to Agriplace industry
Sales “hunter” mindset and experience
Fluent in Dutch or German (one of both required)
Based in Amsterdam
Comfortable building structure from early stage and engaging directly with partners
Willingness to do outbound (cold outreach, LinkedIn, calls)
Nice to haves:
Experience in compliance, sustainability, or regulatory domains
Background in AgriTech or food supply chains
Consultancy experience (especially trade-related or boutique consultancies)
