As a Breakdown Technician, you will make sure our machines and equipment work properly every day. You solve technical problems, do maintenance, and help improve our production lines. You will work with other technicians, operators, and the technical team to keep production going 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

• Find and fix machine problems quickly and safely;
• Do preventive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems;
• Read and understand technical and electrical drawings;
• Make sure work follows safety rules, including Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out (LOTOTO);
• Work on improvement projects to make machines more reliable;
• Keep maintenance records and report your work clearly;
• Check installations, pumps, valves, and utilities around the factory;
• Work together with your team leader, work planner, and other technicians.

• Full-time day shift (Monday to Friday);
• Flexible starting time between 06:00 and 08:00;
• Work on-site every day in Maasdam (no remote work);
• One Sunday per month on duty;
• Salary between €3,500 and €4,300 depending on experience;
• 25 paid vacation days;

You will be working at one of the largest dairy companies in the world. At our Maasdam factory, we make well-known products such as Mona, Vifit, and Optimel. Every day, we process around 100–200 million litres of dairy into millions of cartons of milk, yogurt, and custard that go to supermarkets across the Netherlands.

• MBO education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar;
• Experience as a technician in a production or process industry;
• Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read electrical diagrams;
• Certified or willing to become certified according to NEN3140;
• Proactive and hands-on attitude – not afraid to get your hands dirty;
• Team player who can also work independently;
• Good Dutch language skills (near native);
• English skills are helpful (many manuals are in English);
• All experience levels welcome – from junior to senior.
