This Logistics Specialist role in the FMCG sector, based in Rotterdam, focuses on managing third-party logistics and optimizing supply chain operations across the Benelux. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to lead improvement projects and collaborate across departments.
Description
As a Logistics specialist your responsibilities will be:
- Manage 3PL performance, contracts, and carbon footprint
- Approve invoices and monitor KPIs
- Lead improvement projects with 3PL partners
- Coordinate stock counts and pallet management
- Support internal supply chain hubs and escalation processes
- Collaborate with Planning and Customer Excellence teams
- Travel to warehouses in the Netherlands and Belgium
Profile
Successful candidate traits:
- Background in logistics or supply chain
- Experience with SAP and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Project management capabilities
- Customer-focused mindset
- Effective communicator and relationship builder
- Dutch language is a plus
- Knowledge of FMCG or retail is a plus
