About the Role
At AkzoNobel, we’re proud to be a global leader in paints and coatings, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. We’re currently seeking an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing the end-to-end order process for internal customer deliveries (ICD). In this role, you will ensure that orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and handled in full compliance with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while maintaining strong collaboration across departments such as Inventory Management and Customer Service.

Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the complete order fulfillment cycle for internal customers. You will ensure smooth and accurate order processing, maintain data integrity, collaborate with key departments, and secure on-time delivery in line with AkzoNobel’s quality standards and customer expectations.

Main Objectives and Time Allocation
Around 30% of your time will be focused on managing the complete order flow from entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SLAs. About 20% will be dedicated to proactive communication with order-entry teams regarding order acceptance, lead times, product availability, and any required changes. Another 20% will center on collaboration with the Supply Planners to coordinate forecasts, monitor stock levels, and prevent supply disruptions. Roughly 20% of your time will be spent ensuring that all shipment, cargo, and invoice documentation is completed accurately and shared in accordance with customer cards and SLAs. The remaining 10% will focus on providing information and support to customer service departments on topics such as assortments, product listings, obsolete items, open orders, logistic complaints, returns, and freight quotations.

Performance and Autonomy
In this role, you will operate with a high level of independence, managing the full order process and making informed decisions on lead times in line with SLAs. Your performance will be evaluated based on key outcomes such as order lead time, express cost control, and overall customer satisfaction. While you will work autonomously, maintaining close alignment with internal stakeholders and company procedures remains essential to achieving success.
