The Senior Technician IT Service Desk acts as the primary point of contact between Prothya's end-users and the IT department. This senior role provides comprehensive IT support, manages incidents, and collaborates closely with technical teams to ensure efficient and improved service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Support:

  • Offer comprehensive IT assistance to employees, addressing complex software, hardware, and network issues
  • Resolve advanced technical problems efficiently at the first point of contact with end-users
  • Guide and assist end-users in maximizing the use of IT products and services
  • Provide support and training for Office 365 technology and other workplace productivity tools
  • Lead the installation and configuration of computers and mobile devices, ensuring they are optimized for end-user needs
  • Oversee the allocation and management of IT resources, ensuring employees have the necessary tools for their roles

Incident Management:

  • Log and track IT-related incidents in the Case Management System, ensuring accurate documentation

Escalation Management:

  • Manage complex service desk issues and escalate to third -line support or relevant suppliers when necessary

Procedure Development:

  • Develop and implement service desk procedures

Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance and support to the service desk team
  • Collaborate closely with system engineers and architects to resolve incidents and improve services

Your profile:

  • MBO minimal level 4 or High School Diploma + Associate’s degree in general IT or IT infrastructure
  • > 3 years of IT experience in supporting roles, such as Service Desk or Workplace support
  • Strong communicative skills, problem solving capabilities, customer oriented
  • Emphatic, enthusiastic and excellent team player
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
  • Windows 10 and 11, and Office 365
  • Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Ability to work on-site daily

  •  A fulltime employment of 40 hours per week
  • A market-rate salary
  • A budget of 16,66% (holiday allowance and year-end bonus) of your gross salary, yours to spend or to save monthly
