Sounds good, what will be my role?

You’re the problem-solver who takes complex products and turns them into straightforward, effective tech solutions. You fix bugs, resolve tricky workflows, and tackle system issues so users can work without interruptions. On top of that, you’ll work on web applications that support eCommerce fulfilment and warehouse processes, including systems that are partly legacy and partly new. As part of this, you help phase out old systems, connect new ones, and build the functionalities the business needs.

As a senior, you’re not just coding. You also shape the architecture, set up scalable patterns, guide best practices, and coach others in the team, while building cross-compatible, scalable web apps and web services. Along the way, you’ll touch projects like Devices as a Service, and although the team handles DevOps and cloud support, your experience with Docker and AWS comes in handy. You’ll work in Scrum/Agile sprints, typically two weeks long, and your communication skills help you collaborate smoothly with colleagues.

Gotcha, what do you want from me?

Besides a little sparkle and talent, you have a bachelor's degree in IT or Software Management. You've got a solid track record of at least three years in professional backend development. You're pretty much a pro at PHP, Symfony and MySQL, and hey, if you know your way around Docker and the AWS Stack, that's even cooler. Experience with other frameworks like Laravel also counts, and if you’ve worked with eCommerce or warehouse systems, even better.

Let's not forget your feeling for Scrum/Agile workflows. You know your way around software architecture patterns, can build scalable, cross-compatible web apps and web services, and as experiences PHP Developer, you’re happy to coach teammates without turning into a boring manual. Also, your communication skills, verbal and written, are excellent in English. Last but not least, this field is challenging and changing all the time, which is why you enjoy ongoing learning and don’t mind a little chaos along the way.

I’ve got it all, but what’s in it for me?

You will receive an annual salary between €65.000 and €80.000, paid out monthly between €4.158,69 and €5.962,09, along with great benefits. Your contract will be for one year, giving you plenty of time to make an impact and show what you’re capable of. Travel allowance is included, just as a pension plan.
