Volledige vacaturetekst

Step into a role where precision meets impact.
Are you ready to elevate your career at a fast-paced, international trading powerhouse? Do you thrive in an environment where excellence, agility, and collaboration are part of everyday life? If you’re a top-tier communicator, a master of organisation, and a proactive problem-solver, this could be the next exciting chapter in your career.
Join Optiver — a leading global market maker — as our new Executive Assistant supporting our Global CFO, Global CRO and Corporate Secretary.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Executive Assistant, you’ll be the right hand to some of Optiver’s most senior leaders — providing seamless, high-level support in a fast-moving, high-precision environment.
You’ll be part of our Executive Office team, working closely with the Corporate Secretary and the EA to the Global CEO. Together, you’ll ensure that every detail — from strategic board materials to global travel — runs like clockwork.
This role offers autonomy, visibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact at the highest levels of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage complex calendars and inboxes for the CFO and CRO, and assist the Corporate Secretary when needed.
  • Plan and coordinate international travel, meetings, and itineraries — always with precision and foresight.
  • Handle expense processing and administrative support for your senior executives.
  • Assist the Corporate Secretary with administrative and governance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Executive office on the scheduling and coordination of Board and Committee meetings.
  • Oversee meeting logistics — from travel to event coordination and hospitality.
  • Collaborate on preparing, proofreading and finalising meeting materials: agendas, board packs, minutes, and decision logs.
  • Maintain accurate bios and documentation for all Board members.
  • Ensure information flow, timelines, and deliverables are always on point.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re an experienced and confident Executive Assistant, used to working in a C-suite or Board-level environment. You balance professionalism with warmth, and precision with initiative.

  • Demonstrated experience as an EA supporting senior executives.
  • Proven success working in complex, fast-paced organisations.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational awareness and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A service-oriented, results-driven approach — always striving for excellence.
