As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in securing the organisation’s critical services and data. You’ll design, build, and enhance security infrastructure, respond to complex incidents, and partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen defenses and embed security-by-design principles across the business.

• Design, deploy, and continuously improve security monitoring infrastructure (NIDS, SIEM, EDR) with a focus on automation and visibility.
• Develop and operationalize detection logic and response playbooks for evolving cyber threats.
• Lead incident investigations, ensuring effective containment, remediation, and post-incident improvement.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to design secure, resilient architectures.
• Conduct threat research and translate intelligence into actionable detections and defenses.
• Support internal and external security audits, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001.
• Identify technical improvements to strengthen security posture and reduce vulnerabilities.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security roles.
• Proven expertise in securing Linux-based environments (Kubernetes experience a plus).
• Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong background in security incident investigations and response.
• Skilled in using tools such as NIDS, SIEM, EDR, and log aggregation solutions.
• Experience developing automations and working with large datasets for security analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset, prioritization skills, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Nice to have: Security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CKS), familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and frameworks like ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
