Senior Packaging Engineer

10 months temporarily contract via Talentmark for a very interesting Packaging Engineering project! Our pharmaceutical client is transfering 3 products to Algeria. For this transfer we are seeking an experienced engineer with packaging experience.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Management of 3 r transfers into the packaging line including characterization, functional testing, sample creation and RTE/CRT analysis. Specifically for this role it will be working to transfer products to a partner manufacturing organization based in Algeria.
  • Working as part of the team that evaluates, recommends, and selects new packaging materials.
  • Assessing complex problems relating to process, equipment or materials and assist with recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Write test and characterization protocols, perform technical evaluations, and submit technical assessment reports.
  • Ensure all projects are managed within expected due dates, and provide read outs to senior management and the wider team.
  • Participants in Pre-Approval Inspections (PAI) and interact with regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA, EMEA, etc.) as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. Methods transfer, Engineering, Validation, QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Manufacturing, etc.).

What qualifications are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of engineering, or similar.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience directly related to packaging materials.
  • Proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry or similarly regulated field.
