Do you have technical insight and experience in assembly work? Join Hitachi in Amsterdam-Westpoort and help build powerful excavators used all over the world — full-time and well-paid!

As an experienced assembly worker at Hitachi in Amsterdam-Westpoort, you will work on high-quality excavators that are deployed globally. You will use your technical knowledge and hands-on experience to assemble, test, and improve machine components.

You understand the importance of precision, quality, and safety in your work. This is a full-time day shift position (Monday to Friday, and occasionally on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM). You will start with a temporary contract through Adecco, with the possibility of a permanent position based on good performance.

Your duties:

• Assemble mechanical components according to work instructions
• Perform quality control and minor technical adjustments
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and operators on the production floor
• Report malfunctions and contribute to process improvements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain administrative records of your work
• Actively contribute to developing technical solutions

• Gross hourly wage between €17,00 and €19,94
• 27 holidays off and 8% holiday allowance
• Full-time daytime position – evenings and weekends off
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per KM

• Demonstrable experience with assembly or technical installation
• Good technical understanding and a feel for mechanics
• You speak Dutch or English
