As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design and integration of advanced mechanical systems. Your attribution helps shape layouts and performances of modern ships. The marine mechanical engineer is exposed to a wide variety of complex and multidisciplinary projects and has direct influence on the future of marine technology.

• Designing and developing various mechanical systems;
  
• Designing special components;
  
• Setting-up equipment and piping;
  
• Supervising junior engineers and collaborating with the lead engineer;
  
• Contributing your ideas and views about growth and development.

• A bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, maritime engineering, or mechanical engineering;
  
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience;
  
• Specialized knowledge of concept and basic design;
  
• Technical expertise within the mechanical discipline;
  
• Understanding of project context;
  
• A strong drive to keep improving and innovating, to explore the technical limits, and to take on any challenge;
  
• The ability to maintain oversight, to carry responsibility, and to bring innovations on board;
  
• A perfect command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  
• The eligibility to work in The Netherlands.

• A gross salary of € 4200 up to € 5800 per month;
