We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our structural engineering team in Amsterdam.
In this role, you will work on a diverse range of projects across the property, science, and industry sectors, including mixed-use urban developments, laboratories, data centres, museums, commercial buildings, and residential tower

The team is at the forefront of sustainable construction, delivering innovative and award-winning hybrid timber, concrete, and steel structures. A holistic and multidisciplinary design approach is central to every project, ensuring high performance, quality, and lasting impact.

Lead structural design teams for medium to large-scale projects, overseeing design development, calculations, quality control, delivery timelines, and budget management.
Drive sustainable and innovative design, collaborating with digital engineers on automated analysis workflows and parametric modelling to optimise outcomes.
Work closely within multidisciplinary teams, including experts in Building Physics, Fire Safety, Acoustics, Sustainability, and Geotechnical Engineering.
Contribute to business development, using your professional network to identify new opportunities and support the growth of the structural engineering practice.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with strong technical expertise.
• 15+ years of design experience, including project delivery under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in finite element analysis and other structural design software.
• Experience with timber and hybrid-timber design, as well as reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Skilled in multidisciplinary collaboration and integrated project delivery.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of leading teams in a collaborative international environment.
• Recognised leader within the field of structural engineering.
• Strong communicator with experience giving technical presentations and producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in sustainability and innovation in structural design.
• Evidence of personal initiative in academic or extracurricular pursuits.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills, with experience in team building and project planning.
