Who are you? 

• You are enthusiastic and a communicative person who is a global-minded-professional. 

• You are someone with a can-do and hands-on mentality and the ability to work in an ambitious work environment with respect for diversity.  

• You fit well within an international volunteer organisation and with an interest in SMEs and development cooperation.     

• You have work experience in administration or project support.  

• You have excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing.

• You are based in the Netherlands. 

• You are available for at least 30 hours per week.

Being a Project Officer 

Join our Asia hub as a Project Officer! In this role you’ll keep the daily operations of our projects in India running smoothly. Together with the two country managers and our local representatives you form the country team. You will make sure that our experts are well-prepared to deliver meaningful advice projects – both on location and remotely. The following tasks will be your responsibility:    

• Planning and organising travel itineraries and visas, together with the travel and visa agencies.  

• Ensuring that all project documents are updated and completed in the digital systems.    

• Providing (administrative and organisational) support during the whole process from application to execution of projects.  

• Participating in meetings as a member of the country team (once a year on location in “your” country) to help make strategic decisions.   

• Driving the execution and implementation of the country impact plans (CIP’s), together with your country team(s).

Ins and outs of the role of Project Officer 

As a full-time role at PUM (37.5 hours), the Project Officer position offers a competitive salary between the range of € 3.156,-  and € 4.507,- , depending on the experience you bring. We provide numerous perks, including an 8% holiday allowance, a 13th-month bonus, ‘working-from-home’ and commuting allowances, 28 days of holiday, a pension plan, a training budget, a weekly boot camp, and more.
