Can you turn complex offshore scopes into one transparent plan that everyone can follow? Do you enjoy pressure-testing schedules with what-if scenarios to protect critical path and margin?

We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to build, own, and optimise integrated schedules and portfolio plans, turning complex offshore scopes into clear forecasts, progress insights, and on-time delivery.

Tasks & responsibilities:

Coordinate planning for complex projects/work packages; translate proposal schedules into detailed, resource-loaded project schedules.
Initiate and align onshore/offshore planning inputs across disciplines, foreign offices, and subcontractors; issue baseline schedules for review/approval.
Maintain schedules and coding structures; collect progress, update forecasts, and report status to project teams, management, and clients.
Produce high-impact reports (bar charts, histograms, S-curves, Earned Value/EV) and scenario analyses (offshore schedules, mobilisation, and clients.
Sync timings with scenario/seasonal schedule planners; collaborate closely with Finance/Cost to keep time-cost forecasts aligned.
Set up and track innovations, CAPEX, and R&M (port calls, docking) schedules; support Daily Progress Report data quality.
Lead development of integrated resource/portfolio planning and dashboards; define processes, methods, and tools for an Innovations Portfolio planning system.

Gevraagd

Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical, Civil, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
8+ years in project planning/scheduling (offshore or marine experience is a plus).
Expert in planning techniques, WBS/OBS creation, critical path, risk and scenario scheduling.
Proficient with Primavera P6 and MS Project; solid grasp of project structures, network/resource planning, and Earned Value Management.
Experience with portfolio management scheduling/gate processes; skilled in Power BI and dashboard development.
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently with a hands-on mindset.
Strong written and spoken English; clear communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
