Intern IT Security

We are offering an exciting IT Security Internship within our global technology organization, where you will gain hands-on experience in protecting and strengthening our company’s digital landscape. You will be part of the international IT Security team and we are looking forward to sharing our experience with you.

📍 Location: Rotterdam Office

🕐 Availability: 4/5 days per week

📅 Duration: February 2026 – at least 6 months

What will you do?

• You will support ongoing initiatives in cybersecurity monitoring, risk assessment, and compliance.

• You will collaborate with IT and security experts across different regions to implement security best practices.

• You will assist in evaluating emerging technology risk and assessing the threat landscape within our dynamic, global business environment.

• You will monitor security alerts from various tools and systems, analyse phishing attempts, and help to handle and escalate security events as needed.

• You will assist in developing content for and enhance ongoing security awareness programs.

• You will maintain security documentation and update security policies, guidelines and procedures.

About you

We are looking for a talented young professional with the following background and traits:

✔️ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field;

✔️Fluent in English (written and spoken);
✔️ Excited to be part of a dynamic and international company;
✔️ Hands-on and proactive with a can-do attitude;
✔️ Strong analytical and IT skills, combined with a genuine interest in people;
✔️ Positive, authentic, honest, and trustworthy in your approach;
✔️ You like to be part of an international and dynamic team and environment;

✔️ Available for at least 28 or 32 hours per week for at least a period of 6 months from February 2026 onwards.
