  • Track service letters and follow up technical requests with makers.
  • Organize and manage engine repair projects — including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers for timely execution.
  • Manage spare parts logistics, stock strategies, and returns.

Operational Support

  • Support Fleet Teams in technical and financial decision-making.
  • Analyze repair options and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • Assist or lead breakdown service and emergency repairs.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engine manufacturers and service providers.
  • Negotiate and evaluate supplier performance and pricing.
  • Coordination of communication towards these stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to standardization of repair processes and documentation.
  • Provide input for training programs to expand engine expertise within the teams.

Your qualities:

  • Marine Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification, former chief engineer or sr. service engineer with hands-on experience on multiple engine types;
  • Proven track record in managing 4-stroke marine engine and auxiliary systems overhauls and troubleshooting, preferred OEM expertise in Wärtsilä, Caterpillar, MAN, Cummins, Bergen;
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills;
