The supply chain manager is responsible for managing the factory's Supply Chain department in a clear manner and based on a clear vision. The key point here is the continuous improvement of people, systems and especially the process from requesting raw materials to shipping the finished product.

Main responsibilities

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy. This includes identifying and managing suppliers, planning production and inventory, and coordinating transportation and warehousing, new product coordination and customer service.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supply chain. This includes ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time and accurately, and that products are delivered to customers in good condition.
• Manage and develop the supply chain team. This includes providing training and mentorship, and creating a positive and productive work environment.
• Measure and analyze supply chain performance. This includes tracking key metrics such as inventory levels, delivery times, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement. This includes streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving quality.
• You are responsible for drawing up and realizing the Supply chain departmental policy, targets and financial budget of the factory;
• Measure the performance of the Supply chain factory, based on pre-defined (Group level) Supply chain KPI's and local factory priorities
  

 

Ensure the further professionalization and organization of your department at process, procedure and personnel level.(analyse, control and optimise processes within and between departments)

• You work closely with your local management colleagues, to ensure a smooth cooperation between all departments, with a common goal
• You maintain contact with external partners (such as external warehouse, transport, suppliers and assembly partners, etc.) supporting the business' goals.

Authorizations / permissions :
-         Responsible within operational horizon (0 - 12 weeks) for day-to-day supply chain related activities.
-         Make decisions to support the organizational goals

Result criteria :
-         Customer Satisfaction %
-         Delivery performance to customers (OTIF)
-         Working capital management (Days on Stock)
-         Stock differences & shortages
-         Supply chain related budget items (f.e. external warehouse costs)
-         Optimized production plan and schedule, delivering high production efficiency, optimal stock and service level.
-         Waste expressed in € of finished products, raw- and packaging materials
-        Time-to-Market of new products
Core tasks :
-         Inventory management: Ensuring that the right amount of inventory is available to meet customer demand without incurring excessive costs.
-         Production planning: Scheduling production to meet customer demand and inventory levels.
-         Transportation planning: Coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.
-         Warehousing management: Overseeing the storage and handling of goods in warehouses.
-         Supplier management: Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure that they can meet the organization's needs.
-         Customer service: Ensuring that customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.
-         Responsible to manage the Quality, Health and Safety guidelines within the Supply chain department working closely together with other internal and external stakeholders.
-         Developing new products and services. Supply chain managers can play a key role in developing new products and services by working with other departments such as engineering and marketing.
-         Leading and developing the supply chain team. Supply chain managers must be able to motivate and inspire their team to achieve the organization's goals.
 
 
-         Be an active participant in the S&OP (development) process and responsible for the factory Supply review, performed on a monthly basis
-         As a consequence of this S&OP plan, an efficient capacity plan, inventory plan and MRP plan can be developend and executed
-         Sparring, sharing knowledge and sharing best practices in the field of Supply Chain with the Group Supply chain manager (vice versa), in order to have these applied within Sanorice's other factories
-        Interfacing with customers and suppliers to solve any problems encountered and not solved by subordinates

In addition, we preferably expect you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience in the food industry with demonstrable end responsibility across multiple supply chain disciplines.
• Proven track record in managing managers/team leaders in a dynamic environment.
• Strong practical skills in planning, warehousing, customer service, and product launches; proficient with ERP systems (SAP/AX), WMS, and planning software.
• Brings calm and prioritization, easily switching between strategic oversight and hands-on leadership on the floor.
• Data-driven, clear communicator; fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
