The role of Senior Finance Analyst (Billing) in Amsterdam is part of a global Revenue and Billing team, with team members spread across India, Amsterdam, Cork and Cayman Islands. The Senior Billing Analyst will assist in the day-to-day billing, invoicing and revenue recognition of all global operation activities via the ERP system Oracle Fusion, as well as working with the functional and IT support teams on several ad hoc enhancement projects.

Description

• Process all day-to-day requests from our billing system, for fee updates, invoice generation, credit notes, revenue recognition for the global operations of 40,000+ customers.
• Assist with the monthly closing process, preparation of reconciliations and 4-eye peer reviews
• Manage your aged billing ticket requests in an orderly way to ensure premium service delivery to the operational colleagues requiring invoicing
• This role will involve being a key player in test cycles for all enhancement projects to the ERP system, billing systems, AR and Master Data Portals, as well as regression testing and disaster recovery testing
• Assist with the periodic review and update of internal finance training manuals under the Revenue & Billing function, as well as all business facing user manuals, training videos, wiki pages
• Other miscellaneous projects as required as part of the larger finance team

Profile

• Have a professional accounting designation with a third level qualification in Accounting or Finance
• 3 yrs+ experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
• Attention to details and quality
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) is required
• Experience with Oracle Fusion would be a distinct advantage
• Good communication and teamwork skills
