Interim IT Project Lead Supply Chain

We are looking for an experienced interim Project Lead Supply Chain to manage the technical implementation of Kinaxis Maestro. The geographic scope of the assignment is our European business.

As IT Project Lead you will be part of our Supply Chain Digital transformation project team. You will work closely together with our business and IT teams to deliver the integrated technical solution.

Your role includes coordinating our IT teams, aligning with the business teams, managing timelines, aligning and preparing testing, cut-over management and ensuring a proper hand-over to support.

📍 Location: Rotterdam

🕐 Availability: 4/5 days per week start in January
📅 Duration: At least 6 months

At least 50% on-site presence in our Rotterdam office is required. Also, flexibility is needed to visit our locations in Europe where coordinating on-site activities is required.

Key deliverables and activities:

  • Stakeholder management: Working closely together with business project management, business users and technical experts to align on goals, business requirements, solution architecture and technical implementation.
  • Project management: Manage technical project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Support organizing testing and acceptance. Manage technical cut-over and go-live. Ensure proper hand-over to support.
  • Team coordination: Manage IT teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Issue and risk management: Identify potential issues and risks. Ensure a proper resolution approach per issue and a mitigation strategy per risk.

Experience and skills required:

  • Industry knowledge: Proven track record in the Manufacturing/FMCG industry
  • IT knowledge: Good understanding of S/4HANA, SAP APO, PP/DS in S/4HANA, and Kinaxis Maestro
  • Project management skills: 5+ years of experience in project management in an international setting. Proficiency in methodologies like Prince2 and SaFe/Agile.
  • Communication skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Proficient in English, and preferably two other European language.
  • Problem-solving skills: Aptitude for addressing and resolving challenges that arise.
  • Attitude: Hands-on mentality with a proactive attitude
