Electronics Engineer Drones

Translate system and customer requirements into clear, testable electronics specifications before any design work begins. Design and develop PCBs and electrical schematics with a focus on power paths, signal integrity, and thermal management. Build and populate prototypes yourself and validate designs using lab measurement equipment. Test under real-world conditions including temperature cycling, vibration, and electrical stress across the full operating range. Optimise for energy density, cell balancing, and power distribution across the system. Own the certification process and prepare the required documentation in line with relevant industry and safety standards. Collaborate closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and firmware engineers to achieve full system integration. Record test results, design decisions, and specifications in a way that future engineers can build on.

A degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent hands-on experience that demonstrates the same level of capability. At least five years of experience in PCB design and hardware development in a production environment. Strong proficiency in a professional EDA tool, with hands-on experience across schematics, layout, and component management.
