Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical hardware and software to ensure continuous reliable operation of production lines.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and improve existing production systems to identify root causes, minimize downtime, and increase yield, throughput, and reliability.
- Investigate and understand complex systems, including documentation, and implement practical hardware and software solutions.
- Support system integration, commissioning, debugging, calibration, and industrialization of production equipment.
- Implement improvements to production systems for the increase in yield and throughput.
- Work closely with R&D, production, system, optical, and mechanical engineers to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
- Experience with manufacturing environments developing or maintaining high tech production equipment.
- Experience interfacing with image sensors, cameras, or other hardware providing real-time data streams
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with system, optical, and (mechanical) hardware engineers
- Ability to analyze and understand complex or unfamiliar systems with limited or incomplete documentation.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to investigate issues across hardware, embedded software, FPGA, and system interfaces.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues on production equipment using measurements, experiments, and systematic debugging.
- Structured approach to development, debugging, testing, and documentation
- Good command of English and Dutch
Nice to have:
- Experience with image signal processing (ISP) pipelines
- Experience with calibration, synchronization, or real-time control systems
- Previous exposure to industrialization, production test, or manufacturing environments
- Background in optical systems
We offer
- A competitive salary depending on experience,
