Do you have technical aptitude and enjoy working with machinery in a production environment?
As a Production Operator, you keep the production or packaging line running smoothly. You set up machines, carry out line changeovers, check product quality and take action when faults or deviations occur. You work an average of 38 hours per week in a rotating 3-shift system and earn €16.81 to €18.00 gross per hour, excluding shift allowances. Evening and night work attracts an additional allowance of 34% or 37%, depending on the hours worked. As a Production Operator, you work in the bakery or packaging department. Together with your shift team, you keep the line running safely and maintain the required quality standards. During product changeovers, you adjust machine settings and reconfigure the line where necessary. Throughout production, you monitor the process and check the products. You identify deviations, resolve faults where possible and call for support when needed.
Your responsibilities include:
- setting up and operating production or packaging machinery;
- carrying out line changeovers between products;
- monitoring the production process and its progress;
- performing quality checks;
- identifying and, where possible, resolving technical faults;
- following safety, hygiene and food safety procedures;
- coordinating with colleagues on progress and any issues;
- maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workplace;
- handing over relevant information to the next shift.
You maintain an overview of your line and take responsibility for its operation. As you become familiar with more machines and processes, you can take on a wider range of production tasks.

Wat wij vragenThis role suits you if you have technical aptitude, enjoy working with machinery and want to take responsibility for a smoothly running production process.
You:
- have a level of practical and theoretical understanding equivalent to Dutch secondary vocational education (MBO);
- have technical aptitude and are keen to learn how to operate different machines;
- work accurately and pay attention to quality and food safety;
- understand HACCP principles and the importance of hygienic working practices;
- can work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues;
- have a good command of Dutch or English;
- are available to work full-time;
- are willing to work in a rotating 3-shift system.
Knowledge of German is an advantage. Previous experience as an operator is welcome; technical aptitude and a willingness to learn are important.
Wat wij bieden- €16.81 to €18.00 gross per hour, excluding shift allowances;
- an additional 34% allowance for hours worked Monday to Friday between 18:00 and midnight, and between 04:00 and 06:00;
- an additional 37% allowance for hours worked Monday to Friday between midnight and 04:00;
- the applicable collective agreement allowances for work on weekends or public holidays;
- a full-time role averaging 38 hours per week in a rotating 3-shift system;
- a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for commuting distances from 10 kilometres, up to a maximum of 30 kilometres each way;
- employment conditions under the Dutch Industrial Bakery Collective Labour Agreement (cao Industriële Bakkerij);
