All-round Greenhouse Worker

What you'll be doing
Do you enjoy active work, feel most comfortable working with modern machinery and want to learn everything about cultivation, logistics and technology? Then the position of All-round Greenhouse Worker in Horticulture could be the right opportunity for you. In this varied role, you will be involved in the entire radish-growing process at a modern greenhouse farm in Oude-Tonge. Every day is different, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn new tasks and develop your skills.

As an All-round Greenhouse Worker in Horticulture, you will work alongside experienced colleagues on all day-to-day greenhouse activities. You will assist with sowing, caring for and harvesting radishes and gradually take on more responsibility. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to operate a tractor for preparing the growing medium and milling the soil in the greenhouse.

You will also support logistical activities, such as moving materials and products, and assist with the technical maintenance of machinery and installations. You will join a committed team where knowledge is willingly shared. Together with your colleagues and supervisors, you will work every day to produce a high-quality product.

The position is part of the cultivation department, where you will work closely with employees from the cultivation, production, logistics and technical departments. This will allow you to develop into an all-round worker within the horticultural industry.

You'll receive

• Gross salary from €2,600 to €3,000 per month based on 40 hours per week
• Full-time position - 40 hours per week
• Work from Monday to Friday, with only occasional Saturday shifts
• Support and training in cultivation, tractor operation, logistics and technical work

The ideal candidate

• Has an interest in horticulture and plant cultivation
• Has a good command of Dutch in order to safely and correctly learn how to perform the tasks
• Is available full-time from Monday to Friday
• Is eager to learn new tasks and develop their skills
• Works accurately and is responsible
• Has an interest in machinery, tractors or technology

Where you'll work
You will work for a specialized radish-growing company in Oude-Tonge with a long history in Dutch greenhouse horticulture. The company started in 1963 as a vegetable-growing farm and gradually developed into a modern specialist in radish cultivation. Over the years, knowledge, experience and passion for the product have been passed down from generation to generation.

With more than 35 years of experience in radish cultivation and a strong passion for the profession, the company has become a leading specialist in this field. On more than 14 hectares of modern greenhouses, radishes are cultivated throughout the year, maintaining consistently high quality.

For many years, the company was part of a large international radish producer, and since 2025 it has been operating independently from its location in Oude-Tonge. Quality, innovation and professional expertise remain its key priorities.

Specials

During the summer period, work often starts around 06:00 in order to make the most of the cooler hours of the day. In winter, work usually starts at 07:00, and working days are often slightly shorter.
