Maintenance Technician (Shift Based)

Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) to support daily production by resolving breakdowns quickly and performing preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) ensures equipment and facilities remain in good technical condition, with a strong focus on safe working and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in installations inside and outside production areas.
- Assess the type and impact of malfunctions and determine whether immediate repair is required.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment in good technical condition.
- Supervise and coordinate external engineers/contractors when needed.
- Identify and report important technical issues to the Chief Engineer.
- Provide instructions to colleagues and keep them informed about technical matters.
- Use hand tools and machine tools to process materials when required.
- Work in line with site rules, including safety instructions and quality standards.

Requirements
- MBO level 3 or 4 in maintenance/engineering, or relevant hands-on maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering; able to handle breakdowns independently.
- Experience/knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems, and safe electrical switching.
- Familiar with working in a structured environment with safety and quality procedures (e.g., HACCP and Food Defense are a plus).
- Willing to work in a 2- or 3-shift pattern and participate in on-call/consignment duties.
- Temporary Full-Time Contract (1 year)
