Supply chain Coordinator

Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply chain Coordinator to join our client's team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will oversee the weekly production planning for multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring a seamless balance between customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the weekly planning process for 3-5 manufacturing plants
- Translate customer demand into actionable production plans
- Evaluate last week’s production results to inform future scheduling
- Develop weekly production schedules covering several weeks to up to a year ahead
- Switch between short-term and mid-term planning as needed to optimize factory output
- Collaborate directly with plant contacts, challenging assumptions when necessary to improve supply plans
- Ensure production aligns with demand, balancing service levels with manufacturing efficiency

Requirements:
- Strong data skills and proficiency in Excel, experience with Slim4 or SlimStock is a plus
- HBO degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning or logistics
Critical thinking skills, confident in debating and challenging production assumptions
- Fluency in Dutch and English
