As a Logistics Administrator, you will combine administrative tasks with an active role on the warehouse floor. You coordinate incoming and outgoing goods, welcome drivers, and ensure smooth transport activities. Within this modern international environment, you enjoy unique perks like three additional health days per year and a private-use laptop and phone. Step into this dynamic world where your accuracy keeps the operation moving. Are you ready to bridge the gap between office and warehouse?
As a Logistics Administrator, you will combine administrative responsibilities with an active role in the daily logistics operation. You keep an overview of incoming and outgoing goods and make sure transport activities run smoothly, both administratively and operationally.
You will be regularly on the warehouse floor rather than sitting behind a desk all day. You welcome drivers, guide them to the correct dock or gate position and coordinate with colleagues in the warehouse. If anything deviates from the schedule, you identify the issue and take appropriate action. You will regularly work on Saturdays, while still working a five-day week. If you are scheduled to work on Saturday, you will have an additional day off during the week.
You will also process transport data in various systems and Excel, ensuring that all administration related to the flow of goods is complete and accurate. You will work closely with Operations, Warehouse Support and other internal departments and report directly to the Supervisor.
Wat breng je mee?As a Logistics Administrator, you are accurate, communicative and able to maintain a clear overview, even when priorities change. You enjoy combining administrative tasks with contact on the warehouse floor and can quickly adapt when the planning changes. In addition, you bring:
- MBO+ level of education and thinking, preferably in Logistics or a similar field;
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, transport or a warehouse environment;
- Experience with logistics and administrative processes;
- Experience with an ERP or WMS system, such as SAP, is an advantage;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Full-time availability and willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule;
- A valid driving licence and your own means of transport.
As a Logistics Administrator, you will join a modern logistics environment where collaboration, accuracy and efficiency are key. You will initially receive a temporary contract, with the prospect of a permanent position. In addition, you can expect:
- A gross monthly salary of up to €3,400 based on 40 hours per week, depending on your experience;
- Shift allowance and a time-off-in-lieu scheme;
- 25 days of annual leave, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days;
- 3 additional ‘health days’ per year;
- A laptop and phone, which you may also use privately;
- Travel allowance and a good pension scheme;
- Plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development through training, education and career progression.
Your new employer is an international logistics organisation with a modern location in the Hoeksche Waard region. From this location, various logistics and warehouse processes are carried out on a daily basis for customers within a dynamic industry. A reliable flow of goods and accurate administrative processing are essential to the operation.
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be part of a committed team and closely involved in the daily operation. You act as the link between administration and the warehouse floor and communicate with various internal and external parties. This combination makes your role varied: you will process data and documents, while also coordinating transport movements and welcoming drivers on a regular basis.
Your development is also important to the organisation. Through internal training and educational opportunities, you will have plenty of room to further develop your knowledge of logistics and administrative processes.
