Our client is a leading international organisation involved in the manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution of medicines worldwide. The organisation operates in a highly regulated environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Role Description
As a Technical Production Operator - Automated Manufacturing, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and optimising automated production systems in a GMP-regulated environment. You will combine technical expertise with operational discipline to maintain equipment performance, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor automated production equipment and manufacturing lines.
• Perform equipment set-ups, changeovers, line cleaning, and line clearances in accordance with established procedures.
• Troubleshoot process disturbances and take appropriate action to restore production performance.
• Maintain production equipment and perform minor mechanical adjustments where required.
• Document and verify production data accurately using SAP and/or MES systems.
• Support deviation management and participate in production and quality triage activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure production processes are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP and quality requirements.
• Adjust mechanical and process parameters to optimise equipment and production performance.
• Perform root cause analysis using methodologies such as RCA and 5WHY.
Requirement
• MBO or equivalent technical education.
• Proven experience in an automated production environment, preferably within assembly, labelling, packaging, or similar manufacturing operations.
• Strong technical, mechanical, and analytical skills.
• Experience with structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis methodologies, such as RCA and 5WHY.
• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment; GMP experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and/or MES systems.
• Strong sense of ownership with a structured and quality-driven approach to work.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in 3-shift and 5-shift operations.
