Junior logistics coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will organise international export shipments and act as the key link between customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. Description

• Coordinate international transport shipments, primarily export shipments outside Europe.
• Act as the main point of contact between customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
• Ensure smooth execution of logistics operations and timely delivery of goods.
• Work closely with colleagues from logistics, trading, and quality teams to coordinate activities.
• Build and maintain relationships within the logistics network and stay informed about market developments.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and service levels.
• Maintain and optimise administrative and information systems, including CRM tools.
• Support quality standards and contribute to compliance processes.
• Provide professional support regarding logistics, supplier, and customer-related inquiries.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any operational challenges.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Food & Business, or a related field.
• Fluent in Dutch or English, written and spoken.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Internationally oriented with an interest in global trade and logistics.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Able to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, independent, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Driven, analytical, and focused on continuous improvement.
