Gevraagd
You'll join an international tech company originally founded in Sweden. With around 400 colleagues, this company helps more than 500 retail brands attract new customers, increase sales and build long-term customer relationships. The company develops smart solutions for CRM, customer loyalty, e-commerce personalisation and AI-powered customer insights. These tools help retailers understand their customers better and create shopping experiences that actually make a difference.
From the Amsterdam office, you'll focus on the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, also known as the DACH region. You'll become part of an international sales team and work closely with colleagues from sales, marketing and partnerships. The company has an open, friendly culture where teamwork, sharing knowledge and personal growth are important. You'll have the freedom to take initiative, share your ideas and experiment with different approaches. And because the company is still expanding in the DACH region, you'll get the chance to make a real impact on its growth.
Aanbod
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll look for new business opportunities among retail and e-commerce companies in the DACH region. You'll research companies, understand their challenges and find out who the right people are to connect with. Based on your research, you'll create personal and creative ways to reach potential customers through email, LinkedIn, events, phone calls or other smart approaches. This isn't a sales job where you simply tick off as many calls as possible. It's about starting meaningful conversations and building valuable relationships. Along the way, you'll learn more about retail, e-commerce, AI and B2B SaaS.
These will be your main tasks:
- You'll research interesting retail and e-commerce brands and identify key decision-makers, business developments and opportunities.
- You'll spot potential sales opportunities and recognise the right moment to reach out to a company.
- You'll develop creative and personalised outreach strategies using email, LinkedIn, events, phone calls and other channels.
- You'll build relationships with potential customers and keep track of conversations, insights and opportunities using CRM systems.
- You'll work closely with sales, marketing and partnership colleagues to develop campaigns, test new ideas and reach new customers.
You'll also get to work with modern sales technology and AI tools that make your research and outreach smarter and more efficient. This gives you more time to focus on what really matters: connecting with people.
What makes you a great fit?You don't need years of sales experience to apply for this role. This company is much more interested in your personality, ambition and potential. Maybe you've already gained some commercial experience, or perhaps you're looking to take your first steps into the world of sales. Either way, your curiosity and willingness to learn matter most. You enjoy meeting new people and finding out what makes businesses successful. You're also creative when it comes to getting someone's attention and starting a conversation. Working independently comes naturally to you, but you also enjoy achieving results together with your team. And of course, you're excited to learn new skills and grow within an international tech company.
A background in marketing, retail, e-commerce or business is a nice bonus, but definitely not a must. As long as you're enthusiastic about these industries and ready to learn, this company would love to hear from you!
What else?
- You speak and write fluent German and English and feel confident communicating with international clients.
- You are curious, outgoing and a strong communicator who combines commercial thinking with creativity, research skills and a structured way of working.
- You are interested in retail, e-commerce and technology, and you're excited to develop your skills in B2B sales, SaaS, CRM systems and AI tools.
You can start immediately as a Sales Development Representative, working 40 hours per week. You'll be employed directly by the company and have plenty of opportunities to develop your sales skills and grow your career. For this entry-level position, you can expect a starting salary of approximately €3,300 gross per month based on full-time employment. On top of that, you can earn extra money through a commission-based bonus scheme. You'll work four days a week at the Amsterdam office and one day from home.
You can also look forward to:
- 30 days of paid holiday per year;
- A €500 annual wellness allowance;
- Plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development;
- International team summits and fun team activities.
