Logistics Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor for a recently opened warehouse in Echt.
This is a people-focused leadership role. You'll be responsible for managing daily operations, supporting your team leaders and making sure your team has the guidance and resources needed to perform well.
We're looking for someone who knows how to lead people, handle operational challenges and maintain a productive working environment.
Our client is an international logistics service provider, managing warehousing and distribution operations for businesses across different industries.
The role

• Leading, coaching and developing Assistant Supervisors and warehouse employees
• Overseeing daily operations
• Coordinating staffing, workload and operational priorities
• Holding regular meetings with team leaders to discuss performance and daily challenges
• Monitoring productivity, quality and operational targets
• Working with Workforce Planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes and team performance
• Working closely with other departments to keep operations running smoothly
• Reporting to the Warehouse Manager

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience as a Supervisor or 2 years as an Assistant Supervisor
• Proven experience leading and developing warehouse teams
• Good understanding of warehouse processes
• Previous hands-on experience with SAP in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred
• Good Excel skills and experience working with operational data
• Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
• Confidence in making operational decisions and managing priorities
• MBO working and thinking level with relevant experience, or HBO level
• Good English communication skills
• Availability to work shifts and occasional weekends
• Strong people management skills are essential: you are confident leading different personalities, giving clear direction, addressing performance issues and helping employees develop
