Vliesmachine Operator - Beef Processing (Fat Removal by Machine)

As a Vliesmachine Operator, you will be responsible for removing excess fat from beef cuts using a specialized trimming machine, also known as a Vliesmachine. You will work with meat that has already been processed and carefully remove the remaining fat to prepare it for the next stage of production.

You will operate the machine, monitor its performance and adjust settings when necessary. Accuracy is important, as you need to remove the fat without damaging the meat. You will also check the quality of your work and report any problems with the machine or products to your supervisor.

You will work in a cold, indoor meat processing environment where hygiene, safety and efficiency are essential. The work is physically demanding and requires you to stand for extended periods while maintaining a consistent working pace.

Responsibilities

• Operating a specialized fat trimming machine (Vliesmachine)
• Removing excess fat from processed beef cuts
• Handling meat carefully to prevent damage or contamination
• Monitoring machine performance and adjusting settings when necessary
• Checking the quality and accuracy of the trimming process
• Reporting technical problems or product issues to your supervisor
• Following food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP procedures)

In this position, you will work at a beef processing facility in Andelst through Weflex Personeelsdiensten. You will work in a professional indoor environment where quality, hygiene and safety are important.

This is a full-time position for 36-40 hours per week, with working days from Monday to Saturday. Overtime opportunities are available, and additional hours are paid at 125% of your regular hourly wage.

• You have experience in meat processing or fat trimming
• You are physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• You are comfortable working in a cold environment
• You can operate machinery carefully and accurately
• You are hardworking and able to maintain a consistent working pace
• You are reliable and pay attention to detail
• You understand the importance of hygiene and food safety
• You speak English, Romanian or Hungarian
• A valid driver’s license is an advantage, but not required

• A bruto hourly wage of €16.62-€18.00, depending on experience
• 36-40 hours per week
