Logistics Employee - Reach Truck & Forklift (Freezer Warehouse)

As a Logistics Employee, you will be responsible for handling, moving and storing goods in a freezer warehouse. You will mainly operate reach trucks and forklifts, primarily Linde equipment, to load, unload and transport products within the warehouse.

You will also collect and prepare orders for shipment, inspect incoming and outgoing goods and complete basic administrative tasks. Not all activities involve operating a reach truck or forklift, so you must also be willing to use an electric pallet truck (EPT) and help with other warehouse duties.

You will work in freezer cells where temperatures are around -18°C. Although you will spend time working in the cold, there are regular opportunities to step outside the freezer area. Together with a small team of approximately four colleagues, you will make sure daily logistics operations run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operating reach trucks and forklifts, mainly Linde equipment
• Loading and unloading goods in the freezer warehouse
• Moving and storing products in freezer cells
• Collecting and preparing orders for shipment
• Operating an electric pallet truck (EPT) when necessary
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods
• Completing basic administrative tasks related to warehouse operations
• Supporting general logistics and warehouse activities
• Working safely and efficiently in temperatures around -18°C
• Cooperating with colleagues to complete daily tasks on time

In this position, you will work at a modern freezer warehouse in Kesteren through Weflex Personeelsdiensten. You will be part of a small and diverse team of approximately four colleagues, where teamwork, reliability and efficiency are important.

Your regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00. You will have a total of one hour of breaks per day, including two paid 15-minute breaks. Overtime is common and may extend your working day by approximately 1.5 hours. There may also be opportunities to work additional hours on Saturdays. The work takes place in freezer cells at approximately -18°C, with regular opportunities to leave the cold environment.

• You have proven experience operating both reach trucks and forklifts
• You are willing to operate an electric pallet truck (EPT) and perform other warehouse tasks
• You are physically fit and comfortable working in temperatures around -18°C
• You can work independently and as part of a team
• You are reliable and have a strong work ethic
• You work accurately and pay attention to safety
• You speak Dutch, English or German
• You are willing to work regular overtime, sometimes up to approximately 1.5 hours per day
• You are flexible and willing to work occasional Saturdays

• A starting gross hourly wage of €16.06
• A gross hourly wage of up to €17.50, depending on experience and salary classification
• Full-time work from Monday to Friday
• Regular working hours from 07:00 to 16:00
