Truck Drivers Assistant

For our client in the Tiel area, we are looking for an enthusiastic driver's assistant. Together with the driver, you make sure furniture is delivered, placed and assembled safely and neatly at customers' homes.

Our client is a professional family business with many years of experience in distribution, transport, forwarding and warehousing. They work for both business and private customers and place great value on service, quality and a personal approach.

Do you want to grow within the transport industry? If you perform well, there are opportunities to develop into a C licence driver.

As a driver's mate with the opportunity to grow towards a C licence, you will:

• be responsible, together with the driver, for delivering furniture to customers,
• deliver, carry in and assemble furniture on site,
• provide friendly and professional service to the customer,
• carry out an average of 20 deliveries per day,
• load and unload the truck,
• check and carefully deliver orders,
• be on the road all day, visiting different customers,
• start your working day at 06:00,
• work Monday to Friday,
• have the opportunity to develop towards C driver.

• You are customer-focused and think good service is important.
• You speak and understand Dutch well.
• You are physically strong and have no problem with heavy, active work.
• You are flexible, reliable and enjoy working with colleagues.
• You are motivated to grow into the role of C driver.

As a driver's mate with the opportunity to grow towards C driver, you will receive:
